Mr Eazi to pay over $400k legal fee as Bad Bunny triumphs over Joeboy’s copyright lawsuit

Nigerian Afrobeat gem Mr Eazi has been subjected to legal penalty after Bad Bunny’s team ordered him to comply with his copyright breaching.
His signee, Joeboy’s song, “Empty my pocket,” attributed Bad Bunny’s flow and melody, thereby triggering a copyright overview.
Prior to the song’s success on all streaming platforms, Bad Bunny’s team battled legally against Mr Eazi’s record label Empawa and ordered them to pay a whooping currency of $456,312 over their recent legal approach to his alleged copyright attempt. This came to a heated approach after Bad Bunny’s team defeated him in a legal battle.
Currently, the South American Grammy Winner has asked the federal court to order Empawa to pay their penalty cash price, which is worth over $400k in legal fee as he has defeated him on a copyright lawsuit over his song “Enséñame a Bailar” from his album Un Verano Sin Ti.
Astonishingly, the lawsuit was filed against Bad Bunny by Dera _ a producer from Empawa record label, as he claimed Bad Bunny song used an element off Joeboy’s “Empty my pocket”
Bad Bunny, however, is seeking payment from the record label and not the producer.
Since the news broke out, Nigerians have reacted massively on all social media platforms according to their views.
