“My children are never going into music or the entertainment industry because I suffered” – Davido

Nigerian singer and songwriter Davido has revealed his stance about his children concerned with his musical attributes.

While discussing his family affair at a podcast where he appeared as a guest, Davido revealed that he doesn’t want his children to follow his part in music. This he backed with the claim that he suffered in the music industry.

He stressed that he would prefer them to work for his father, Adeleke, who is their grandfather, disclosing that it would be much easier for them, unlike him, who suffered in the music curriculum.

Discussing his struggles in the musical industry, Davido revealed that his father’s lack of support over his musical goals during the early phase of his career made him suffer in the music industry.

He addressed that he wouldn’t want his children to experience the same trauma he encountered during the early phase of hus career.

He also emphasized his father’s love over his grandchildren, revealing that he often spend lavishly on them. He would also announce that his father is currently single as he is committed to giving his grandchildren their best lives.

Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively according to their views on social media platforms.
